“Love yourself first” - I was just having a mo

“Love yourself first” - I was just having a moment to myself and this poured out of me.
•
I’ve noticed that I am so so so hard on myself which can then make me become hard on the people around me, especially the ones I love the most. We live in such a fast paced goal orientated world now where there’s zero time to sit, reflect and enjoy our achievements or special moments, it’s all go, go, go.
•
So I just had a thought, be a little selfish in the most loving way possible and forget about everyone else for a moment. Spend a little time with myself, reflecting, enjoying my own company and loving myself first, then everything else will seem less stressful and annoying.
•
So take a little time for yourself whenever you can. Go for a walk, read a book, make a cup of tea or just sit alone in silence for 5 minutes - to love yourself first!
•
A bit of a ramble I know but it’s important that we help and guide one another whenever we can, I know I find it helpful and motivating when others do it. 💕

I really wanted to get to day 100 of #the100daychallenge but only managed 50 days however, I’m still really proud of what I have managed to achieve. I’ve learnt so much on this packaging illustration journey - time management, discipline, patience, networking with brands and the knowing that I can draw outside of my comfort zone.
